Some might prefer Dawn of War 2, and certain, it’s multiplayer holds up (Comp Stomp Mondays) but the original offered so much more. Things that bring older games a little closer to the modern tastes of gamers.ĭawn of War is probably the best of the Dawn of War series if you like larger battles. I thought it might be nice to discuss mods that have sucked you back into games that you thought you were done with. Mods are awesome (sometimes) and made something old, new again. Despite its age, people are creating new content for it. Then, just as you are about to exit out, you find that there is a community, but they just aren’t playing the base game anymore. It’s no longer novel, and the userbase has all moved on.
And then, you quickly realize that, yes it was fun, but there was a reason you moved on. In this day and age, with games and DLC’s coming out to fast to catch, sometimes it’s fun to go back and pay through some of your old favorites.
